Azerbaijani judokas 3rd in European Championships
Azerbaijani fighters have finished third in the overall medal table of the Veteran European Judo Championships in Porec, Croatia, Azertac reported.
The veteran fighters brought home seven medals, including five golds.
The gold medals came from Vugar Huseynov, Vugar Budagov, Farhad Rajabli, Zaur Bagirov and Zulfiyya Huseynova.
Mushvig Jafarov grabbed the silver, while Zaur Pashayev scooped the bronze medal of the tournament.
The Championships brought together 813 fighters from 38 countries.
