Azerbaijan grab 4 medals on Day 1 of Junior European Judo Cup
Azerbaijani fighters have claimed a clutch of four medals on the first day of the Junior European Judo Cup in Berlin, Germany.
Hidayat Heydarov won gold in the 73kg weight category. In the 55kg division, Karamat Huseynov claimed silver, while Nariman Ahmadov and Natiq Qurbanli took bronzes.
Azerbaijan`s squad at the cup includes 16 fighters.
A total of 524 judo fighters from 38 countries are contesting medals of the tournament.
