New Iranian ambassador to Turkey appointed
Former Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alireza Bikdeli has been appointed Iranian ambassador to Turkey, Trend news agency reported on Wednesday, referring to Fars agency.
Bikdeli will replace incumbent Ambassador Bahman Hosseinpour.
Earlier, Bikdeli worked as deputy head of the Political and International Studies Department at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, as head of the Afghan office under the Foreign Ministry and as Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Cyprus.
