Opening Russian market 'not to create obstacles' to Georgian-US trade relations
Opening up the Russian market will not create obstacles to Georgian-US trade relations, president of the MagtiCom Company and chairman of the Eurasian Cooperation Fund, David Lee, said Thursday.
He added that strengthening the Georgian economy, restoration of trade relations with any country will make Georgia more attractive for U.S. trade and investment.
The new Georgian authorities are conducting an active dialogue on the restoration of trade relations with Russia. Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili added that this year's crop can be exported to the Russian market.
