SOCAR’s Kulevi oil terminal resumes ops
The oil terminal of Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR in Kulevi village of Georgia has resumed normal operating mode after the strike, the SOCAR Energy Georgia, representing the interests of SOCAR in Georgia, told Trend news agency on Monday.
The company said the management of the oil terminal met with the strike committee, and following the meeting it was decided to resume normal operating mode of the terminal.
"The strike is over, and the terminal resumed operation in normal mode," the SOCAR Energy Georgia said.
Kulevi terminal was put into operation in summer 2008. Its total capacity is 10 million tons of oil per year, including 3 million tons of oil, 3 million tons of diesel fuel, and 4 million tons of fuel oil.
The terminal can accommodate up to 168 tank cars. The tank farm's total volume is 320,000 cubic meters with the possibility of increasing to 380,000 cubic meters.
