KazMunaiGas studies Tatneft experience in oil field development
The delegation of Kazakh National oil and gas company KazMunaiGas headed by Deputy Chairman of the Board Timur Bimagambetov paid a working visit to Russian Tatneft Company, Tatneft reported on Wednesday, according to Trend news agency.
"During the four-day working visit the representatives of the Kazakh oil company met with the management of Tatneft and studied the company's positive experience in the main areas of production including engineering design of oil field development and service provision, as well as got acquainted with the scientific activity of TatNIPIneft," Tatneft said.
In particular KazMunaiGas representatives were interested in Tatneft's innovative technologies.
The KazMunaiGas delegation also visited the wells of Almetyevneft, equipped with systems of dual completion/production and chain drives and Bugulma Mechanical Plant where they got acquainted with the process of manufacturing chain drives and pipes with anti-corrosion coating.
During the visit the representatives of the Kazakh oil company visited one of the largest research centers in the oil industry branch, TatNIPIneft Research and Design Institute of the company.
The specialists of KazMunaiGaz were familiarized with integrated technologies applied in crude oil fields' development at Yamashneft's Arkhangelskoye field.
"Kazakh oilmen were interested in the efficiency of the reservoir pressure maintenance systems, the technology of oil recovery enhancement, automation of crude oil production and oil treatment processes, utilization of associated petroleum gas and corrosion and scaling control," the company said.
