Iftar table has been laid on behalf of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva in Moscow.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Moscow Representative Office has been participating in the project “Ramadan Tent” by Russia’s Muftis Board and laying Iftar tables for the devout for already 10 years.

Members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora and representatives of different nations joined the ceremony.

Guests became acquainted with the photo-stand arranged before the “Ramadan Tent”.

Photos related to the first European Games, as well as architectural and religious monuments of Azerbaijan were displayed here.

Participants were presented Baku, Amor and Irs magazines, publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, multimedia disks about the country and cards with beautiful places of Azerbaijan.

Then surahs from the Koran and an Iftar prayer were read. Azerbaijanis and Muslims of Moscow were entertained to Azerbaijan’s national dishes and sweets.

A video film about the first European Games held in Azerbaijan was demonstrated at the Iftar ceremony.

Representatives of Ikhlas Foundation read verses devoted to the Ramadan Holiday. Religious and popular songs were performed by singers.
