President Aliyev inaugurates bus depot, training center for European Games
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a bus depot and a training center of Bakubus LLC for the first European Games.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the bus depot and the training center, AzerTac state news agency reported.
Finance Minister Samir Sharifov informed President Aliyev about the work carried out here. An administrative building and four service buildings were constructed here.
The President reviewed the conditions created in the administrative building, Driver Training Center and a bus park, and viewed buses. The head of state then watched the buses in action.
Fifteen buses will be served in the filling station at the same time.
The Games are expected to gather some of Europe's best athletes as 16 of its 20 sports will be Olympic; additionally 12 of the sports will offer qualification opportunities for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
