Azerbaijan joins int’l waste management congress

Azerbaijan was represented by Head of Environmental Protection Department of "Tamiz Shahar" JSC Sabit Zeyniyev at an international congress on waste management in Vienna, Austria,AzerTag state news agency reported.

Zeyniyev delivered a speech on "Balakhani Industrial Park- reducing the waste and increasing the resources" at the congress.

The ISWA World Congress is one of the world`s most important congresses in the field of waste management. Up to 1,000 experts, decision makers and visitors from around the world are attending the event. The congress is organized by the City of Vienna - MA 48 - in cooperation with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).

The congress offers the opportunity to attend scientific presentations, to visit the poster exhibition and company booths, and to take tours of modern companies in order to update knowledge on the latest trends and developments in waste management. This event provides with the perfect setting for knowledge exchange, as well as maintaining contacts and establishing new ones.
