Azerbaijani President receives UN HR for Alliance of Civilizations
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on May 30 UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, AzerTac state news agency reported.
They praised Azerbaijan`s cooperation with institutions of the United Nations in a variety of fields, including the Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).
The Azerbaijani President and the UN High Representative stressed the importance of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in terms of bringing various cultures and civilizations closer to each other.
They expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-UNAOC ties would continue to expand.
