SOCAR’s Science Foundation announces contests on financing research projects
Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR's Science Foundation has announced contests for research projects and other research activities for 2013, a statement posted on the website of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) said on Monday.
The projects submitted to the Foundation must relate to earth sciences, technical and chemical sciences.
Preference will be given to the following areas: search and research prospects of hydrocarbon fields in deep water, the creation of complex computer programs and three-dimensional geological and hydrodynamic models of hydrocarbon resources, the development of mechanisms for the rational use of human resources by using intelligent information technologies.
An application form and other required documents must be submitted from March 1 to April 30.
The contest results will be announced no later than September 20.
