From September 10 to 13, the Nizami Cinema Center will host a special program dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani literature, People's Writer, and State Prize Laureate Maksud Ibrahimbayov (1935–2016), marking the 90th anniversary of his birth, Azernews reports.

The event is jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Culture Ministry, the State Film Fund, and the Maksud Ibrahimbayov Creativity Center.

A retrospective of films for which Maksud Ibrahimbayov himself wrote the screenplays will be presented as part of the evening. Admission to all screenings is free.

The film "Our Teacher Jabish" (Bizim Cəbiş müəllim) will be screened on September 10 at 17:00.

On September 11, the audience will have the opportunity to watch "The Last Night of Childhood" (Uşaqlığın son gecəsi). The film screening starts at 16:00.

The film "Who Will Go to Truskavets?" (Truskavetsə kim gedəcək?) will be shown on September 12 at 16:00.

The retrospective will conclude on September 13 at 16:00 with a screening of "The Sea" (Dəniz).
