Luxembourg hosts exhibition 'Azerbaijan - Land of Tolerance' [PHOTO]

Azerbaijan Culture Association “Karabakh” in Luxembourg hosted an exhibition entitled "Azerbaijan-a country of tolerance" with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Belgium and Luxemburg and "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC.
Azerbaijani diaspora, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Luxembourg, NGOs, research centers, and etc., attended the event, Trend Life reported.
In her speech, Vice-President of the cultural center Eva Rodik told about the importance of such events.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg Fuad Iskenderov, in turn, stressed that Azerbaijan has an ancient history, culture, strong traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism.
The exhibition features 84 works by 24 young artist, students of Sakit Mammadov`s school of opalism.
Opalism is a style, the foundation of which was laid by wortld-famous artist Sakit Mammadov. Opalism word’s etymology was taken from the opal stone.
Vibrant and colorful canvases aroused great interest of the guests.
The book "True life" by actor Bahram Bagirzade was also presented as part of the event.
The interesting feature of the book is bright illustrations made by young artists and great masters of brush- Sakit Mammadov, Altay Sadikhzade, Elchin Orujev, Aynur Mammadova, Aliyar Alimirzoyev, Vugar Muradov, Nizar Mammadov, Vugar Ali, Jasar Mammadov, Akshin Kazimov, Aynur Aziz Mammadova and others.
The book "True life" is difficult to attribute to any genre. This is neither novel nor story. "True life" perfectly revels the feelings that live in our hearts: loneliness, pain, love, fear, loss, grief and unfulfilled dreams.
Earlier, the book and exhibition was presented in Brussels and Amsterdam.
