Azerbaijani central bank’s foreign currency reserves increase by 12%
Foreign currency reserves at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) were $11.694.75 million at the end of 2012, the CBA said on Thursday, Trend news agency reported.
The Central Bank's reserves increased by 11.6% or by 1.213 million during 2012.
CBA Deputy Chairman Avtandil Babayev told the media earlier that the central bank plans to increase foreign currency reserves at its disposal up to $15 billion by late 2013.
