Technical body on standards of grain and flour products set up in Azerbaijan

Technical committee (TC) on standardization of grain and flour products has been established in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan, the committee said on Thursday, Trend news agency reported.
"The Technical Committee was created to provide quality baked goods, in accordance with the safety standards of the population, as well as for the improvement of the standardization of grain and flour products," a statement said.
The regulation, the structure and composition of the technical committee has already been approved.
The TC includes specialists of the state committee, the ministries of health and agriculture, and a number of the enterprise on production of bread.
The purpose of the technical committee is to prepare projects of national, interstate, international, regional standards and foreign standards, technical regulations and other documents on standardization in the field of grain and flour products, business expertise, develop sound proposals to approve or reject the draft documents in the field of standardization and etc.
