Georgia - China economic ties in focus
Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the Commerce Minister of People's Republic of China Gao Huchenom in Beijing.
The meeting was held within the framework of Kvirikashvili's working visit to China.
The conversation dealt with the issues of foreign economic relations of the two countries, including the dynamics of growth and turnover of the Chinese investments in Georgia, the Georgian ministry reported.
Development of economic ties with China should be one of the top priorities of the external economic relations of Georgia, Kvirikashvili stated.
Meanwhile, the Chinese said noted the interesr in the revival of the Grand Silk Road and the development and potential which Georgia has.
