Azerbaijan Fashion Week: New world of fashion industry in Baku

Bakuians will witness another fashion event this year, as the capital city will host Azerbaijan Fashion Week at Baku Boulevard Hotel from November 30 to December 4.
During the four-day event, the guests will enjoy interesting show programs, presentations, showrooms, events and parties from the ascending names in Azerbaijan’s as well as International Fashion Industry.
For the first time the annual competition for young designers in the category Fashion Design and Accessories will be organized during the Fashion Week. Finalists will be offered the internship opportunities in the branches of the prestigious Italian Fashion Institute - Istituto Europeo di Design.
The main purpose of the Fashion Week is to highlight the growing fashion industry in Azerbaijan and create the opportunity for the talented designers to showcase their potential. Along with the local designers there will be designers from other countries including Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and France.
Foreign experts of fashion industry, including buyers of the biggest fashion retail networks and boutiques, representatives of glossy international as well as local publications and international PR agencies will attend the event.
The catwalk shows will be held in the Ballroom of Boulevard Hotel and will be accompanied by pop up shop and showrooms set over the foyer of the Hotel.

The first big international fashion project, featuring young local and international talents in the exclusive fashion shows is focused on creating the opportunities for the talented designers.
Azerbaijan Fashion Week is held twice a year- May and November, and attended by influential fashion-industry experts.
