Caspian fashion week due in Russian Astrakhan

The Caspian fashion week will be held for the first time in the South Russian and Caspian area on April 20-27.
The international fashion week is a professional event in the fashion world which aims to develop cooperation in between Russian regions, as well as the Caspian and CIS countries. The show also is set to attract more tourists to the Russian Astrakhan region.
The Caspian fashion week stands as a platform for many designers as all can exhibit their latest designs, collections and exchange professional experience, education and potential training opportunities.
The organizers hope the event will help boost trade and lead to the signature of several lucrative contracts in between designers, manufacturers and sellers. They hope it will become a driver for development in the regional market.
Many famous fashion bloggers, designers from various Russian cities, as well as Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Germany and Armenia are waiting with anticipation to attend the event. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, Moscow Fashion Week and European Fashion Show designers are also expected to attend.
About 30 men, women and kid’s fashion shows will be included in the event’s program.
Alongside several interesting events including master classes, and round tables, the organizers have also prepared show rooms for their guests, where they will have a chance to try on or buy designers’ clothes and accessories. In addition guests will get the opportunity to relax in beauty salons as well as get acquainted with the program of Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
All the shows will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on April 22-26 in the Astrakhan Kremlin.
The business and training programs will be held in the Grand Hotel and at the media room “Kaspiy” publishing house.
The event is jointly organized by Economic Development Ministry, Agency for Youth Affairs, Agency for Press and Mass Communications, Culture and Tourism Ministry, the Government of Astrakhan oblast and Astrakhan City Administration.
