International Mugham Center hosted a creative evening of the famous composer, honored art worker Mobil Babayev on October 10.

The project was organized by TV channel "Mədəniyyət" with the support of Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the International Mugham Center, Trend Life reported.

The evening opened with a song from the movie "Sunny City". The works of Mobil Babayev were performed by the instrumental ensemble "Qaytağı", conducted by People's Artist Anver Sadigov.

People's artists Mubariz Tagiyev, Gulyanag Mammadova, honored artists Lala Mammadova, Sabina Asadova, honored artist Javan Zeynalli, singers Adil Akhundov, Rovshan Gahramanov, Taleh Yahyayev, Shola Safaraliyeva, Javid Mammadov, Ilkin Akhmedov, vocal quartet "Sevil" will performed on the stage.

In 1953, Mobil Babayev was admitted to the secondary special music school named after Bulbul (violin class), where he began composing music in his youth. He continued his education at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory.

Mobil started working at the film studio "Azerbaijanfilm" named after Jafar Jabbarli as music editor in 1973, and then was promoted as the editor-in-chief.

The composer has written music for many domestic films, including art-documentary, popular science and animation films. His works are performed by famous Azerbaijani singers.
