The winner of the 6th "Mugham" TV competition Parviz Gasimov will give a concert in Baku.

The gala evening will take place in the International Mugham Center on October 26, Trend Life reported.

The event will be held as part of project "Where the mugham lives", organized by the International Mugham Center, TV channel "Mədəniyyət " (Culture) and the Azerbaijani radio.

The concert will feature mugham compositions, including "Mirzə Hüseyn segahı", "Qarabağ şikəstəsi", folk songs "Dəli ceyran", "Mən gəlmişəm sizə qonaq", "Yaşa məhəbbətim" will sound. Tesniffs, etc.

Parviz Gasimov will perform together with ensemble "Uğur", conducted by Altai Niftaliev.

The concert will start at 19:00.

With centuries-old history, mugham, continues to fascinate music lovers around the world.

The Azerbaijani mugam is included in the list of UNESCO Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity (2003) and the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2008).

One of the most valuable monuments of the material and spiritual culture of the nation contains seven main modes - Rast, Shur, Segah (are especially common), Shushtar, Bayaty-Shiraz, Chahargah, Humayun and three collateral kinds - shahnaz, sarendj, chargah in some other form.

Ticket are sold at all ticket offices in Baku, ASAN service centers and website www.iticket.az.
