Bulgaria hails justice reforms in Azerbaijan
Bulgarian Vice President Margarita Popova has hailed justice
reforms in Azerbaijan as she met the country’s Justice Minister
Fikrat Mammadov.
She said her country is following with great interest the
Azerbaijani government’s measures to modernize justice and legal
system, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Popova praised the organization of the 3rd session of the Assembly
of Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in
Baku.
Mammadov, in turn, hailed the Bulgarian Vice President`s speech at
the IACA Baku session.
He praised the Azerbaijani-Bulgarian ties, particularly cooperation
between the two countries` justice authorities.
The minister provided an insight into reforms in Azerbaijan`s
justice system, particularly measures to ensure transparent
election of judges.
