Industrial safety issues mulled in Nakhchivan

The 12th meeting of the CIS Interstate Council on Industrial Safety ended in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event organized at the initiative of the CIS Executive Committee and Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry focused on strengthening partnerships in ensuring the industrial safety at the hazardous production facilities, as well as the prospects of sharing experience in this area, exchange of experience in this field and the perspectives.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant structures of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Moldova, Tajikistan, CIS Executive Committee and the UN Economic Commission for Europe.

The first day of the meeting considered changes in the legislation of CIS countries in the last year, and exchanged views on the monitoring at the enterprises of oil and gas production.

On the second day, there was an exchange of views and experience on the results of last year's activities, implementation of control and preventive checks at the complex and facilities with hazardous production of oil and gas industry.

The participants of meeting have adopted final document and signed.
