President Aliyev signs order on execution of powers of Cabinet members
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on October 21 signed an order on the execution of powers of members of the Cabinet of Ministers, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The president entrusted the execution of powers of the Cabinet of Ministers, which had resigned in accordance with the Article 116 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, to previous composition of the Cabinet of Ministers until its new composition is formed.
The order comes into effect from the day of its issuance.
A solemn inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who will lead the country for the next five years, was held at the Milli Majlis (parliament) on October 19.
