Nation triathlete  wins Hong Kong ASTC Sprint

Azerbaijani triathlete Rostislav Pevtsov has become the winner of the 2017 Hong Kong ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup.

The championship brought together triathelets froms Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Italy.

He secured the gold medal after timing 56.39 seconds, Azertac reported.

The triathlete was 3 seconds ahead of the Hungarian Gabor Faldum, who finished the race second. The bronze went to Maximilian Sfetcu from Germany.

Earlier, Rostislav took a victory in the European Cup in Las Palmas, and then took first place in the Open the African Cup of Nations in Rabat. He also grabbed the silver at World Cup in Chengdu.

Rostislav took second place in the overall standings of the Triathlon European Cup, and now he celebrates the victory at 2017 Hong Kong ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup.

Azerbaijani female triathlete Kseniia Levkovska ranked fourth at the tournament.
