Iran says diplomacy is way of resolving Syrian issue
Iran, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia will soon resumed the
negotiations on the Syrian issue, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister
for Arab-African Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdollahian said, Mehr
reported.
Amir-Abdollahian referred to the apparently failed attempt of
foreign military intervention in Syria, and said that the diplomacy
is the way of resolving the issue.
He added that during his recent trip to Egypt, country's president
Mohammed Morsi expressed initiative for the joint talks on Syria to
continue.
The Egyptian authorities would soon announce the date of the
meeting, he said.
Last year "the contact group" of Iran, Turkey and Egypt have met to
discuss the Syrian crisis. The high ranking representatives were
not joined by Saudi Arabia.
