Baghdad asks Iranian companies to help rebuild city
Baghdad Municipality asked local Iranian companies to
participate in the rebuilding of the city, Fars news agency
reported.
Baghdad mayor's administrative and technical assistant Naim Kabi
met with Economic Counsellor of Iran's embassy, Bagher Juwayni, and
the sides discussed possibility of Iranian companies participating
in rebuilding the city's infrastructure.
Naim Kabi noted at the meeting that the Municipality soon plans to
implement new development project that would require world's
leading companies to participate.
Speaking of Iranian companies, Kabi noted that those would in
particular be useful in the housing sector.
It was also noted at the meeting that the delegation from Iran's
Mashhad city will be visiting Baghdad soon, not only to expand
relations but also to review the development plan.
