Sales of top 100 Iranian companies $215 bln in fiscal year
The total sales of top 100 Iranian companies in the past fiscal year, which ended on March 19, 2012, amounted to 2640 trillion rials (about $215 billion), IRNA news agency quoted Iranian Industrial Management Organization managing director Ali Kermanshah as saying.
The figure showed 30 percent growth year on year, he added.
The No. 1 Iranian company's sales hit 170 trillion rials (about $13.8 billion), he said, without naming the company.
The list below introduces the ten top Iranian companies - according to the Iranian Industrial Management Organization - in terms of the number of personnel:
1- Iran Khodro with 52,795 personnel
2- Saipa with 39,304 personnel
3- Mobarakeh Steel Company with 14,806 personnel
4- Mapna Company with 8755 personnel
5- Iran Khodro Diesel Company with 8695 personnel
6- Khouzestan Steel Company with 7013 personnel
7- Bandar Emam Petrochemical Company with 7008 personnel
8- Pars Khodro Company with 6828 personnel
9- Fars and Khouzestan Cement Company with 5446 personnel
10- National Iranian Copper Industries Company with 4864
