Iran hosts first meeting of ECO tax chiefs
The first meeting of heads of tax administrations of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) member states has started n the Iranian capital of Tehran,Trend news agency reported on Monday referring to İRNA agency.
According to İRNA, issues having an interest for ECO members including the issue of intensifying cooperation in the tax area will be discussed during the two-day meeting.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran are attending the meeting.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Taxes told Trend that deputy minister of taxes Sahib Alakbarov and head of the Ministry of Taxes' department on foreign relations Metin Kerimli represent Azerbaijan at the event.
