Colombia declares three days of mourning after deadly earthquake
The Colombian government has declared three days of national mourning in memory of the victims of a powerful earthquake, AzerNEWS reports, citing Colombian media.
The relevant decree was signed by President Abelardo de la Espriella.
“A three-day period of national mourning is hereby declared in memory of the victims,” the presidential administration said in a statement.
During the mourning period, the national flag will be flown at half-mast at all government buildings across the country, as well as at Colombian embassies abroad.
