Iran, Azerbaijan mull ties in justice field

Head of the Penitentiary Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice and Deputy Justice Minister met Iran's Ambassador to the country, spokesman for the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan said on March 4.
Lieutenant General Madat Guliyev and Mohsen Pakayin exchanged views on further cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice, Mohammed Ayatollahi told Trend Agency.
At the meeting, Pakayin thanked the head of the Penal Service for the condition of Iranian citizens in Azerbaijani prisons and the opportunities provided for their regular meetings with embassy staff.
Senior officials from the ministry also attended the meeting.
