Over 80 Azerbaijani police officers trained in Turkey in 2012
Around 83 Azerbaijani police officers were trained in Turkey in 2012 as part of a cooperation project in the field of international police training which began in Turkey since 2007, Anadolu news agency reported on Monday.
The project is being implemented by the Turkish International Coordination and Cooperation Agency. 1286 police officers from 13 countries have been trained in Turkey within the project.
Besides Azerbaijani police officers, there are some from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Mongolia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan and other countries attending the relevant exercises and training.
The exercises were mainly conducted on the protection of key facilities, security and intelligence services, etc.
