More funds invested in Azerbaijan’s oil, gas sector
The volume of investments made in Azerbaijan’s oil sector stood at 5.35 billion manats in January- September 2015, or 21.3 percent more than in the same period of 2014, according to the report from the country’s State Statistical Committee on the first nine months of 2015.
The total volume of investments in Azerbaijan’s industrial sector stood at 6.24 billion manats, or 19.4 percent more than in the same period of 2014, said the report.
Of these funds, 5.4 billion manats were invested in the mining industry in Jan.-Sept. 2015, which is 22.6 percent more than in the same period of 2014.
The investments in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and heat totaled 127.8 million manats in Jan.-Sept. 2015, or 43.5 percent less than in the same period of 2014.
