TurkPA's commission to hold meeting in Azerbaijan

The third meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TurkPA) Commission on Economic, Trade and Financial Affairs will take place in Azerbaijan's Parliament on February 11.

The meeting will mull the role of transport communications in economic cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries.

Members of the Commission comprised of the parliamentarians from the four member countries, as well as the representatives of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States and TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission will attend the meeting.

The meeting will be preceded by a consultative meeting of the experts from the member countries.

TurkPA is the parliamentary union of Turkic-speaking countries whose purpose is to form the mechanism of inter-parliamentary relations among the Turkic countries, promote the convergence of political views, exchange of information, Turkic culture, the expansion of economic ties, the implementation of joint projects, and to seek solutions to the problems facing the Turkic world.
