France will build new cement plant for Uzbekistan Railways

The French construction company Freyssinet is planning to build a new cement plant for the needs of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari, Uzbek media reports.
The parties agreed on it after the negotiations held between representatives of French company and Uzbekistan Railways.
The parties discussed the organization of a new cement plant, whose work will be aimed at meeting the needs of the railway company. It also dealt with re-conducting geological surveys on the proposed construction area in the Pakhtachy district of the Samarkand region, introducing new technical equipment and modern technologies.
French experts noted that the planned production capacity of the new plant will be about one million tons of high-quality cement products per year.
In addition, the parties discussed during the meeting, issues of urban development in Tashkent, the construction of new facilities in the capital, and, in particular, suspension bridges and subways.
The parties substantively reviewed a number of submitted projects, exchanged views on the construction of new structures and structures in a modern design and unique style that meet international standards and are designed to decorate the capital.
The decree of the Uzbek President of November 7, 1994, No. UP-982 on the linear divisions basis, the enterprises, the organizations and establishments of railway transport located in the territory of Uzbekistan formed the State and joint-stock railway company "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari".
Now JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” is vertically integrated society as on its summary balance there are infrastructure and rolling stock (freight cars and locomotives).
The modern look gives to the train, first of all, its design – aerodynamic, optimized under influence of a wave of pressure and side wind. Length of an electric train makes 157 m, height – four meters. All salons are equipped with soft, convenient chairs with a folding back and the built-in little tables, and also monitors for viewing of a video. All zones of the train are non-smoking.
Salons of all cars are equipped with hangers for clothes and places for storage of large baggage, and also traditional luggage regiments. In cars necessary conditions for physically disabled people are created, in the third car, there is also a place with special fastening for placement of wheelchairs supplied with the button of a call of the steward. Movement of wheelchairs is promoted also by that the floor in all zones of the train has an identical level.
