Iran to establish two condensate storage facilities in Persian Gulf

Two new gas condensate storage facilities will be established by Iran at the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, Trend news agency reported referring to IRIB TV channel.

The facilities will have a storage capacity of 640,000 cubic metres.

The South Pars gas field is shared by Iran and Qatar. The Iranian share, which is divided into 29 phases, has about 14 trillion cubic meters of gas, or about eight per cent of total world reserves.

According to the budget for the current solar year, it's expected that Iran will export 400,000 barrels per day of condensate worth $18 billion.
