Oil product prices up in Kazakhstan

Prices of manufactured goods increased by three per cent and mining goods by 1.2 percent in Kazakhstan in October 2012 compared to September, the Kazakh Statistics Agency reported today.

According to the report, industrial production increased by 1.7 percent, while production services by 1.2 percent in October.

Prices of liquefied propane and butane increased by 14.4 percent, diesel fuel by 3.8 percent, coal by 2.6 percent, fuel oil by 2.5 per cent and oil by 1.8 per cent. Gas condensate prices dropped by 2.3 percent in October.

Lead prices increased by 20.3 percent, copper by 16.2 percent, zinc by 15.2 percent, raw aluminium by 11.8 percent and precious metals by 7.9 percent in October. However, ferrous metal prices fell by five percent and ferro-alloys by 0.3 percent.

At the same time, prices of cereals increased by 3.9 percent, pasta by 3.5 percent, poultry by 3.4 percent, rye flour 3.2 percent, wheat two percent and vegetable oil by two percent.

Fish prices fell by 2.1 percent and tea prices by 1.4 percent.
