Local newspapers to receive one-time financial assistance
President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on July 22 providing one-time financial assistance to newspapers published in Azerbaijan, Azertac reported.
Under the order, one million manat will be allocated from the President`s Contingency Fund to the State Fund for Support of Mass Media Development for paying one-time financial assistance to local newspapers.
Also, President Aliyev signed an order providing funds for the continuation of the construction of a residential building for press workers.
According to the order, three million manats will be allocated from the President`s Contingency Fund to the State Fund for Support of Mass Media Development for the continuation of the construction of the house.
