Cool weather in Baku to last

The cool weather dominating in the country since August 21 has become like music to many people’s ears.
After the record heat that the country experienced for the past several weeks, the forecast predicted that the lows temperature will continue a bit longer.
The weather on August 25 will be windy and thunderstorms are expected in the country, according to the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry.
Baku and the Absheron peninsula are predicted to be cloudy and windy on Tuesday with a chance of thunderstorms.
The temperature in the capital will be 25-27 degrees C during the day and 20-22 C at night. In Absheron peninsula, the temperature will stand between 24-28 C during the day, dropping to 19-22 C at night.
Temperatures are expected to hover at around 25-30 C during the day and 18-23 at night on August 25. In the mountains, the temperature expected to be cooler, 14-19 during the day and 8-13 at night.
Earlier, forecasters predicted the current weather trend would last until August 27.
