Baku to welcome 2nd Indonesian Cultural Festival

Indonesian Cultural Festival returns to the City of Winds with a whole array of scheduled happenings encouraging crowds to explore, discover and enjoy totally new experiences.

Baku will welcome the 2nd Indonesian Cultural Festival on September 9-10, Azertac reported. The first day of the festival will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

A fascinating performance of world-famous jazz musician Dwiki Dharmawan, Indonesian traditional dances from Azerbaijani college students and Indonesian professional dancers and much more awaits festival's guests.

The second day will be held at the Seaside Boulevard as a funwalk program and feature open-air performances.

The first ever Indonesian Cultural Festival was held in Baku last autumn. The two-day Indonesian Cultural Festival brought together groups of artists who presented traditional music, folk dance-music and more.

Indonesia is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in the fields of tourism, trade and investment. Azerbaijan is the third largest trade partner of Indonesia. The country is interested in making mutual investments with Azerbaijan in the oil and gas sphere.

In addition, Indonesia intends to increase the tourist flow with Azerbaijan.
