Tariffs for cargo transportation jumps
The tariffs for cargo transportation in Azerbaijan's transport sector increased by 1.1 percent in June, 2014, compared to the May, the State Statistical Committee reported on July 11.
The tariffs for passenger transportation in Azerbaijan have dropped by 0.2 percent during the reporting period, according to the committee.
The passenger transportation by air to CIS countries has decreased by 5.1 percent, while some two percent increase was recorded in passenger transportation to other countries by air.
The tariffs for cargo transportation by waterway to CIS countries have decreased by one percent in June compared to May, while the passenger transportation by rail have increased by 12.9 percent.
The tariffs for oil transportation via pipelines have grown by 1.7 percent in May.
