A presentation and tasting of Azerbaijani wines has been held in Astana, Azertac reported.
Heads of more than 40 diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan, ambassadors, representatives of government bodies and local public figures attended the event organized by Azerbaijan`s Embassy.
Addressing the event, director of Fireland Vineyards winemaking company Elmar Saidov highlighted the presented products. He said Azerbaijani wines are made using German, Italian, French and Japanese equipment. He said Chardonnay brand has earned international recognition as one of the best-selling dry wines.
