A 3D graffiti project, jointly initiated by the IDEA - International Dialogue for Environmental Action and YARAT Contemporary Art Space- was launched at the Dada Gorgud Park in Baku on September 25.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Founder and Head of IDEA Leyla Aliyeva attended the ceremony.

The project is designed to increase public awareness of environmental problems and the importance of protection of "Big Five" group of animals that includes brown bear, imperial eagle, gray wolf, gazelle and Caucasian leopard.

The Big Five project was created for the protection of animals species living in Azerbaijan that faced the threat of disappearance. It was an initiative by Leyla Aliyeva in 2012.

One of the graffiti in the park was created in 3D format by graffiti artists from England Edward Shiron, James Titchner and Julian Phethean.

Meanwhile, the works of Azerbaijani graffiti artists presented in the park reflect the environmental problems of the Caspian Sea and the program "Stop cutting down trees", organized by the Foundation and IDEA.

The graffiti will remain on display for the park' visitors by October.

The IDEA is implementing some large-scale local and international projects to protect the environment and promote innovative approaches to solving environmental problems.

The campaign is based on the principles of dialogue, action, leadership, and education - all the essential components for equipping a generation with means of fostering positive and sustainable environmental change.

One of the notable activities of the IDEA during three years of its existence is a massive tree planting campaign during which more than 3,472,000 trees were planted.

Recently, the association organized "Protecting leopards!" summer camp for schoolchildren to educate them how to live near the habitats of Caucasian leopards.
