Turkmenistan, Vietnam strengthen bilateral bonds

Turkmenistan and Vietnam interested in activation of trade and economic cooperation, according to a meeting between the presidents of two countries within the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New-York.

Both sides highlighted significant importance of mutually beneficial partnership in spheres like construction and production of building materials, fuel and energy complex, textile industry and tourism.

The sides mentioned that the current partnership between the countries has a huge potential to develop the volumes of trade turnover.

During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited President of Socialist Republic of Vietnam Chong Tan Shang to take part in the conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality to be held in Ashgabat in December 2015.

As the head of state noted, the participation of the leader of Vietnam in this conference will attach powerful impetus to the activation of bilateral relations.

Having expressed the satisfaction with upcoming participation of the Vietnamese sportsmen in V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts in Ashgabat in 2017, the nation leader wished them successes.
