New labor minister appointed in Kazakhstan

Tamara Duisenova has been appointed the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan, the press service of the president reported.

The decree posted on the official website of the president of Kazakhstan.

Duisenova was fulfilling the duties of the Labor Minister from June 10. Her predecessor in this post was Serik Abdenov, who was dismissed from his duties on the same day.

Duisenova was born on January 11, 1965 in the village of Lenin of Shymkent region. She graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy (1987), with the engineer-economist major.

She started to work as a teacher of computer science and computer engineering at a school in Saryagash district of South Kazakhstan province in 1988.

In different years she held the posts of the Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population (16 September 2002 - September 2006), the Deputy Akim of the South Kazakhstan province (27 September 2006-2007), Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan (January 31, 2008 -February 2013), Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC LIC State Annuity Company (2005-2006).
