Ambassador of Ghana accredited in Turkmenistan

Chairperson of the Turkmen parliament Gulshat Mammedova received credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana Sayuti Yahaya Iddi, Trend reports Feb. 27 referring to the Turkmen government.
At the meeting, the sides underlined Turkmenistan’s commitment to broad international cooperation, including in the context of currently expanding relations with the African Union, the states of North and West Africa.
At the meeting, the parties noted the importance of intensifying the interstate dialogue between the countries both in a bilateral format and as part of authoritative international organizations.
The diplomat was also received at the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, where opportunities for partnership between the two countries in various areas were considered.
