Baku condemns terror act in Egypt

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the terror act committed in Mansoura city of Egypt, which resulted in civilian casualties.
"Azerbaijan, as a country suffering from terrorism, deplores all forms and manifestations of terrorism and reiterates the necessity of strengthening the efforts of international community to fight against the terrorism," the ministry's statement reads.
The ministry also extended its condolences to the families and relatives of the terror victims.
A strong explosion occurred on December 24 in front of the police headquarters in Mansoura, located in 120 kilometers from Cairo.
The Egyptian intelligence said, a car filled with explosives and driven by a suicide bomber exploded. According to the latest information, 15 people were killed and over hundreds of people were injured as a result of the terror act.
