President Aliyev opens remodeled school in Baku on Knowledge Day
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev officially inaugurated on September 16 newly reconstructed school No158 as the country marks Knowledge Day, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Accompanied by his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva, the Head of State viewed photos reflecting the look of the school before reconstruction.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov said the school was built in 1961. The 1,580-seat school consists of three educational and one auxiliary block.
The President toured the school, and then met teachers and students.
School Principal Zemfira Samadova thanked the President for his attention to development of education.
