Czech president embarks on Azerbaijan visit
BAKU – Czech Republic President Václav Klaus arrived in Azerbaijan on Monday for an official visit.
A guard of honor was lined up for the president at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Czech Republic.
President Klaus was welcomed here by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials.
The Czech President and his wife Livia Klausová were given flowers.
President Klaus and Eyyubov had a brief meeting at the airport`s VIP room.
