Freight shipment of wheat and coal to transit Azerbaijan heading to Armenia
Eight railcars carrying wheat and ten carrying coal will be dispatched tomorrow from Bilajari station to Armenia, transiting via Azerbaijan.
AzerNEWS reports that this shipment adds to the growing volume of transshipments passing through Azerbaijani territory. To date, transit freight from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan has exceeded 36,000 tons of grain, nearly 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 414 tons of anthracite, and 67,000 tons of timber.
During the same period, Azerbaijan exported nearly 15,000 tons of diesel fuel along with approximately 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline directly to Armenia.
