On February 16-17 and 23-24, the first stage of the Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition which is a partner in Azerbaijan of the largest world public speaking competition was completed.

The four-day project consisted of two parts, including training and competition. Participants took part in a 20-hour training course by professional and experienced coaches. In total, 108 students and pupils took part in the trainings.

As a continuation of the project, over the next four days the participants will prepare their presentations with mentors. After completion of this stage, participants will deliver a speech during 5-7 minutes on topics selected for participation in the competition. Performances will be judged by the jury in accordance with international criteria on a 100-point system.

The winner of the competition, will be known as the best speaker among all Azerbaijani students and pupils, and will receive the right to represent Azerbaijan at the largest international competition of public speaking "International Public Speaking Competition", which will be held on May 13-17.

The winner will compete with winners from 54 countries in London for 5 days. A participant who has successfully completed this stage and become a winner will receive the right to take part in an international event in England.

APSC (Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition) is a platform that, using international experience, fosters future leaders, speakers in Azerbaijan.

APSC is a renowned partner of the ESU "The English-Speaking Union" organization of the Great Britain with over 100 years of experience. Within the framework of cooperation, the winners are sent annually to London to participate in an international competition.

At the same time, APSC collaborates with the PSA "Public Speakers Association" of the United States of America.

The International Speakers Conference, which is held every year in different countries, brings together corporate employees, company executives, speakers and business leaders around the world. The conference is attended by the elected people from Azerbaijan.
